Antiaging Practices and Fitness Go Hand In Hand

Studies have shown that adolescents are at poor physical fitness levels compared to adult Americans! According to the Journal of the American Medical Association and a doctor by the name of Dr. Mercedes Carnethon from Northwestern University, the level of fitness among Americans is poor. Combined with a poor exercise regime, she also found that diets are high in fats and low in fiber which significantly contribute to sedentary lifestyles. Exercising is a good regular antiaging practice that more of us need to do on a daily basis. According to a study done between 1999 and 2002, it compared the fitness levels of two groups of Americans. The first group was young adults from 20 to 29 years of age and the second group was adolescents between 12 and 19. She found that over one-third of the adolescents scored in the low cardio respiratory fitness category, while only 13.9% of the adults had low fitness levels.

This is a significant finding as more and more young people and adolescents choose to sit in front of the TV or play computer games as opposed to going out and playing a game of tennis or jogging. As our diet becomes increasingly saturated with fat, it becomes more important everyday to consume anti aging nutritional products, and antioxidant antiaging-related food items such as fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants have been found to reduce the level of cell oxidization in the body and are a great defence against aging and coronary artery disease.

It was also found that people with low fitness scores had other risk factors for premature coronary artery disease such as low HDL cholesterol and high LDL cholesterol. They also found that systolic and diastolic blood pressure elevation was related to obesity. Your overall health fitness level depends on good daily antiaging practices which include regular exercise, finding some good anti aging supplements, as well as learning more about antioxidant antiaging products and how they can assist you in maintaining good health.
