Seven steps to keep in mind while putting up your first website.

 

First thing you need to do, is decide what to include in the website or webpage and then construct a blueprint.

OK.If the blueprint is ready! Get Started.

Steps to be followed are mentioned below:

  • Create a template for the website to establish the look and feel of your site,which fits with scheme of things.

  • Outline the items which will change on every other page of your web template and use this as your checklist.

  • Create the format in the text editor with following details to go with for every template or webpage.

    Filename:Write the name you intend to give your webpage(e.g., index.html).But the best thing to go for keyword rich filename or u can say URL.
    Title:Will appear on the top of the browser and should be with your keyword in it.Should be less than 90 characters.
    Description:(Meta Tag.)What the page is all about.Not more than 200 characters long.
    Keyword:Meta tag description.write your targeted keyword with some other which goes with the keyword.(for e.g., website can be written as website or web.)
    Body:Content of your site goes here.But keep in mind do not overdo with keyword in content.
    Footer:Several anchor text with their respective links goes here.

  • Create your web-page in your favourite editor.

  • Now copy and paste the format form the text editor.

  • Save the files on your local drive.

  • Upload all the files on the server.
