Bush Administration and the Road to Alternative Fuels

Some of the political rhetoric from the opposing political party is quite alarming in that the Democrats are attacking the Bush Administration for their alternative fuel views. Why is this alarming? Well, because previously it was the Democrats, which had plugged the alternative fuel use. But now since the Bush Administration is working towards it, all of a sudden it is called into question.

I completely approve of Bush's strong leadership and taking his message on the Road and talking up the great companies and research folks who are working on efficient, good ROI and sensible alternative energy concepts. Anyone who condemns his alternative energy efforts now, is shooting themselves in the foot. I feel it is unfortunate to see Bush haters who cannot bury the partisan politics hatchet long enough to join forces in a common cause in doing the right thing with alternative energy sources.

We as a nation should not allow ourselves to be so caught up in the sound and fury that we cannot work together in a common cause for the betterment of all. If we agree that alternative fuels make sense then we ought to agree to work together in a non-partisan way to make it happen without attacking each other. Consider this in 2006.
