The Best Way to Wash Your Seven Jeans

Designer jeans are very expensive, so you want to get the most life out of the design and the color of the denim. There some simple ways that you can have them lasting for years to come. The key is to use the most natural products when you wash them. Artificial chemicals will fade the color of the jeans. This can be terrible for your jeans because most designer jeans have a worn look that is faded in certain areas.

The more you wash them, the more faded they become all around. This makes the fading that the designer made to them less apparent. Use soaps that have the least amount of scent. Scented soap is not that important because you are most likely going to put them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. Try a scented dryer sheet instead. Also try to use detergents that do not have a bleach alternative. Even if it says that it is color safe, it can still fade the color over the life of your jeans.

The most important step when washing your jeans is how you wash them. If you are like most people, you wait until all of your jeans are dirty and then you wash them together. This is a horrible way to wash jeans for one main reason, friction. Denim is a tough material, so having a washer or dryer full of jeans means that they are just scraping against each other. All you have to do is turn the pair of jeans inside out when you wash them. This minimizes the friction against other jeans a lot. Youll be surprised how long a pair of jeans can last when they dont fade too. The material also softens over time, so the longer you can keep your material looking great, the more comfortable your jeans will be.
