When you take a picture with silver based photo media (analog) the light changes the silver into a latent image. This image has all of the information within it but it needs to be developed. To create a viewable image, it take's special training and the exact time and temperature to develop the latent image Only then can this image be seen and admired by others. The image can be used to give others a better understanding of what was always there in the silver base but could not be seen. This is similar to what happens to people.
