Hot NFL Teams Are Rolling In

The hottest NFL players aren't necessarily born from game winning touchdowns or community service off the field. Sometimes, ok most of the time, the best and brightest in professional football are the players who prompt the most controversy. It all goes back to that old saying, there's no better publicity than bad publicity. Maybe it didn't go exactly like the, but you get the picture.

With that in mind, who will emerge has the hot elite amongst NFL players? Well, Houston Texans number one draft pick, Mario Williams is a very safe bet. Don't worry Mario hasn't taken part in an wild parties or drove drunkenly down any Houston roads, but did get ESPN in quite a tissy when he beat out Heisman Trophy winner, Reggie Bush as the numero uno.

ESPN commentator Len Pasquarelli was beside himself with anger. Pasquarelli called the Texans' decision to pass up the former University of Southern California running back in favor of Williams who hailing from North Carolina State. Dollars to doughnuts says that all eyes, especially the eyes of the naysayers, well be on young Mr. Williams and his ability to proof his worth as the number one draft pick.

If controversy makes for hot football, then Reggie Bush will be blazing this season as well. Reggie ended up being second choice and is making a home with the New Orleans Saints. This is one time that second choice isn't so bad. The team, which represents the courageous city of sin, is likely do for some good luck. More than that though, Reggie will become a household keyword just by all of the issues surrounding how the Texans' coaching staff will work Reggie into the team's offense.
