Lowest Online Airfares

The best way to find low airfares online is to be aware of all the good travel websites, then search for prices on different routes and departure dates and compare airfares across several airlines. Narrow down the sites to a few sites with special offers and low airfares and then make a decision quickly. These low airfare offers on the Internet do not last very long and are quickly picked up so its best to act fast.

One good way to start searching for low airfares online would be to visit fare finder web sites such as Kayak, Orbitz, Travelocity and Expedia. These websites will look through their database and find discount airfares and bargain tickets - all you have to do is enter the destination and date of departure. These travel websites also offer discount packages on airfares and other things which is another great way to save money. You will however need to act fast as such bargains and offers expire quickly.

But often the best deals can be found directly in the airlines website. Practically all airline web sites have sections for special offers such as ""Discount"" or ""Bargain"" or ""Specials"". The first thing to do would be to visit these special offers pages for low fares, promotions and sales. Usually there is an ""Internet Specials"" page which is available but only if the tickets are booked online.

It is also a good idea to sign up with different airline websites for their free weekly emails. These e-mails are a good way to get alerted about the airlines weekly special offers and current bargains.

Another way to save money on air travel is to bid for the lowest tickets to wherever you want to go. One very popular website is Priceline.com, where all you have to do is enter the destination and how much you would be willing to pay for your ticket. The site then tries to find a flight on an airline that is willing to accept your low bid. The downside is you will have to enter your credit card details to bid and if Priceline picks your flight you are obligated to purchase it with no refunds and no changes.
