Different Choices Of Locations For The Family Beach Vacation

If you are thinking of enjoying a vacation with your family on a beach, there are plenty of choices available in the world. Here are a few choice locations nearby with a brief description of what they offer.

Maui

On the west coast of Maui, there are many resorts available. For the golf enthusiasts, there is Kapalua resort, where guests receive a thirty percent discount over the day visitor to their golf courses. You can stay at the Kapalua Bay Hotel, the Kapalua Villas or the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.

Next to the Kapalua Bay, there is the Napili Kai Beach Resort which was set up for families on vacation. The accommodations are low rise beach front condos. The amenities include: laundry facilities, kitchens, and for children ranging from six to twelve there are programs to cater to them. There is no cost to these programs but they run at certain times of the year (from mid June to August and at Christmas and Easter as well).

If you want fewer crowds, then you could stay at the Maui Prince hotel. This resort is found in a quiet and secluded location with a large beach and two golf courses.

Mololai Family Adventures

Mololai, not to be mistaken for the snorkeling site, Molokini, is full of empty beaches. You can get there on a plane from Honolulu or by ferry from Maui. It isn't the place to go if you want a busy nightlife or a good shopping center but if you want time with your family on your own, in the outdoors then Mololai would be perfect.

Florida

The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach is a wonderful place for a family to stay. It has a spa, half a mile of sandy beach front, and a golf course. The hotel caters to the needs to the family on vacation with choices such as: programs with activities designed for the children, a pool especially for the kids and the family entertainment center. In terms of accommodation, the hotel allows kids under sixteen to stay with their parents for free and you are able to reserve up to five adjoining rooms for your family.

In Orlando, the Loens Hard Rock Hotel is a great choice. There are the sandy white beaches and a variety of amusement rides including the two hundred and forty foot slide.

California

California has plenty of family resorts. The Hotel Del Coronado is one of the most well known. The activities offered are numerous and varied. You can have lessons in kayaking, tennis, surfing, biking and much more.

Georgia

Georgia's barrier islands are a good option if you want a more easy going vacation. On Jekyll Island, there is (of course) the beach, more than one eighteen hole golf course for golf lovers and stretches of paved bike paths on which you are able enjoy the scenic views.
